The town council of Moreruela de Tábara is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with Spanish Royal Decree 1112/2018 of 7 September.

This statement applies to the website aytomorerueladetabara.es, in its Spanish and English versions.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with Royal Decree 1112/2018 owing to the lack of conformity of the aspects set out below.

Non-accessible content

a) Lack of conformity with Royal Decree 1112/2018

  • Links embedded in text. Some links inside a paragraph have an activation area smaller than 44 × 44 pixels. Success criterion 2.5.8 of WCAG 2.1 expressly excepts inline links within a sentence, so they are not a failure, but they may be awkward to press on small screens.

b) Aspects not evaluated

The following aspects were not verified in the self-assessment carried out, so their conformity cannot be asserted:

  • Colour contrast across the pages. Although the site palette is high-contrast by design, the systematic calculation of the luminance ratios required by success criterion 1.4.3 has not been performed.
  • Full keyboard navigation, including tab order and focus visibility on all interactive components.
  • Compatibility with assistive technology, in particular testing with screen readers.
  • Behaviour with text resized to 200 % and with increased text spacing.

c) Disproportionate burden

Not claimed.

d) Content outside the scope of the applicable legislation

  • Decorative images. The ornamental engravings are marked as decorative so that assistive technology skips them, as provided for non-informative content.
  • Third-party content. Links lead to external sites — Wikimedia Commons, institutional tourism portals, WhatsApp — whose accessibility the town council does not control.

Aspects verified as conformant

What was checked in the self-assessment is set out here so that this statement can be reviewed and the starting point is on record:

  • Alternative text: 100 % of the images on the pages have an alt attribute; decorative ones have it empty, which is correct.
  • Touch targets: all non-excepted controls reach 44 × 44 pixels at 320 and 375 pixels wide.
  • Horizontal overflow: none at 320, 375, 768 or 1280 pixels.
  • Heading hierarchy: no skipped levels; a single h1 per page.
  • Visual stability during loading: cumulative layout shift reduced to zero on the pages measured.
  • Language: correctly declared in each version.
  • Skip to content link: present on every page.
  • Reduced motion: the site respects the system preference and disables its animations.
  • Operation without JavaScript: the informative content is accessible without JavaScript; the planner offers an equivalent alternative.

This statement was prepared on 27 August 2026.

The method used was a self-assessment carried out by the body itself, performed on 25 August 2026 by inspecting the code and measuring the pages of the site in a browser at widths of 320, 375, 768 and 1280 pixels.
